Vacation Mode Continues (sortof)

Hey, Bloggy Friends!

I hope all is well where you are. Is it steaming hot there? Philadelphia is scorching. I can't even stand to be in the sun for a few minutes. Is that global warming? or am I just more sensitive to it now? I remember as a child I would stay in the sun for hours and hours, and usually end up painfully sunburnt. That's the worst feeling - nothing makes it better - except a bath full of vinegar. I know it sounds strange, but that's my Mom did for me and it took the burn away instantly! I feel like I'm on a bit of a tangent!

Anyways, when Aaron and i arrived back in NYC on Sunday I met up with my step-sister, Destiny, who was staying with friends in Queens. She has been on a road trip of her own over the past two weeks. She has spent time in Canada, upstate New York, and she just so happened to be in New York the same time I was. It worked out that she was ready to leave, for a visit to Philly, so I ditched my bus and rode home with her. It was much better than being on a Chinatown bus.

We arrived back into Philly around 10 pm. It was so great to see Alan and all the pets. It felt like I had been away from them for such a long time. I definitely missed them and was happy to be back. Destiny has been staying with us since then, so I still feel like I am in vacation mode. I've been showing her around the city and stuff like that. It's been a good time, but I think she is leaving today to continue her little journey alone. I will have a little time to chill before my friend Nicole comes to visit on the 27th, from San Francisco. This summer is so full of side trips and friend visits! I love it.

I guess I will run for now, I just thought I would say hello. I notice a lot of your blogs have been rather quiet lately - I'm sure that means you are having a momentous summer as well. I'd love to hear all about it! Before you go, check the newest video from Bloggy Friend Bill. This is Part six of is video autobiography. Enjoy! and have great day.

Love, Josh

Glad you are back in Philly. It's surprisingly mild in Nashville for this time of year, but that will change later this week.

How fun is that? You step sister was in NYC also. Thats great that yall have the chance to spend some time together.

I wish I was half as creative as you & Bloggy Friend Bill when it comes to creating videos. I guess I actually need to start by doing one in the first place. I'm a video compilation virgin (blush).

Thanks for being so supportive about my (complex, and slightly weird) videos. Not long ago I re-watched that one I made for your birthday back in December. OMG! That was so much fun.

Thanks for the detailed, realistic, and interesting New York and Montreal blogs. Whether you were enthralled or just trying to keep an open mind about something, it was always honest and vivid!

Brava to you!!!!

Destiny is just on a road trip by herself? How interesting. That's sounds like something I'd be doing.

Another guest? Gosh, you're having a busy summer. When are you going to relax and just do nothing or does too much of that bore you?

Bill's video is fabulous! He has a very nice speaking voice. What a talent. Also, Bill has such a beautiful head of hair! If only I had half of it!

I have lots of organizing and budgeting to do to prepare for the remainder of the year. I'll be watching the finances to see if I can slip out to Philly for a while before the semester begins. I would really like to.

Take care bitch! And yes, it has been quiet lately in our little blogosphere! We need to pick up the pace and get things rockin!!

Yours,
Rick
