Second Day In New York!

Hey, Bloggy Friend!

Yesterday we spent another fabulous day in New York City! It wasn't easy waking up this morning, since we stayed out till nearly 4 am last night, but we managed to roll out around 11 am. Aaron and I went to have breakfast at a great tea lounge called Teany. For those of you who don't know, Teany is owned and operated by famous musician Moby. It's a fantastic place. I always try to make it there whenever I'm in the city. You know I love tea! I had a delicious green tea chai, sweetened with agave nectar, and a bowl of yogurt and granola. It was heavenly!

When we finished we met up with Matthew, who was having a particularly hard time getting out of bed. We took the Metro to the West Village to check out a few art galleries. We saw some amazing exhibits, check them out in the pictures below! When we wrapped that up, Matthew and I headed to Chelsea for more Pinkberry! Aaron wanted to check out some bookstores, where he is infamous for sitting for hours reading different magazines. I had an awesome time walking through Chelsea and Greenwich Village. It was a lovely day.

When that was over we headed back to the hotel for another disco nap. We refreshed ourselves in time to head to dinner at an East Village Thai restaurant called Pukk (pronounced puck, not puke!). It was a really neat place, and the food was very satisfying. The menu was completely vegetarian.

After dinner we headed to a nearby bar called The Phoenix. Matthew and I weren't feeling it, though, so we left to take a slow stroll back to the hotel. It was a warm, breezy night, and it felt good to check out more East Village sexiness.

Well, that about sums it up for the day! I hope you're all having a great day. Check back tomorrow for info on our first day in Montreal!

Mmmmmwah,

Josh

I love the East Village... we stayed in Chelsea which is a great place also, but I preferred the East Village gay bars much more... The people were more "real" than the "Chelsea Boys."

Sounds like a fun stay in the Big Apple!

You girls are the Andrews Sisters of impromptu fun.

I love the tea place. My fav tea is Japanese green (so different from Chinese green).
