Sunny Wackness!

Hello.Hey Bloggy Friends!

Today was the best day of the year so far! It was so warm, sunny and gorgeous. I loved it! I cut my second class to go spend some time in the city. So, I ventured over to Rittenhouse Square, which was so full of people. I'm not usually big on crowds, but today could do no wrong. It was great sitting there in the sun, people watching and trying to stay focused on notes for my Sociolgy test tomorrow. I am so happy the warm weather is here. Fromw what I saw today, Philly is going to be an amazing place to be in the summer. I can't wait!

Last night after work I went with some friends to see a movie that is a part of the 2008 Annual Philadelphia Film Festival. On the schedule it was referred to as "Mystery Movie," so no one knew what they were going to see beforehand. I was a little nervous that it would suck, but it turned out to be one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It was a coming of age film called "Wackness." Click HERE for a great review. I guarantee you'll love it. One of my favorite things about it is that it takes place in 1994, so there are tons of hilarious 90's references that I, and a lot of my Bloggy Friends, will appreciate. I don't think it will be released nationally until July or August, so when it comes around check it out. It was a favorite at this year's Sundance Festival.

I hope you guys are having an awesome week. I have been really busy. I had two tests this week that I've had to crack down and study for like crazy. I think I did really well, though, so it was all worth it! I'm looking forward to this weekend when Bloggy Friend Bill comes to visit for the first time! We also have two other friends coming from San Francisco on Sunday, so we'll have a busy visitor-filled weekend!

Have a great night. I'll talk to you soon :)

Love, Joshka Jenkins

Sounds fun. Glad you could skip that class & enjoy the day.

It was beautiful here today also (78 degrees)... but we'll see what happens with our crazy, stormy weather tonight.

Sounds like a lovely day in Philly. However, you have GOT to get that a/c installed before my next visit! You know I can't handle the heat and humidity! Neither can Alan!

Keep me posted on your Lville arrival to pick up the baby!
